Information Architecture

Organizes content and navigation so people can find things fast — it plans the structure, page hierarchy, menus, and labels for a site or section before anyone designs a single screen.

Cowork & Chat
How to use it
Tell it what the site or section needs to hold and who’s using it, and it maps the structure: top-level sections, what lives under each, how pages relate, the navigation and menu labels, and clear naming. It groups content the way users actually think (not the way our org chart does) and gives you a sitemap and page outline you can hand to design and build. Best practice: settle the IA before visual design — getting the structure right first is far cheaper than reorganizing finished pages later (exactly the lesson behind this onboarding hub’s page map).
How to invoke / keep it on
Say “plan the information architecture for…,” “how should this site be structured?”, or “map out the navigation and pages.” Bring the list of content and the audience so the structure fits real needs.
